Update on the alms to the elderly rickshaw drivers

Dear all generous donors

I would like to share an update on the support to the elderly rickshaw drivers. Total funds which have been raised $126. I added additional $15. With a total fund amounted at $ 141, we are able to support six elderly rickshaw drivers.

Special delivery was done this afternoon. The bag consists of 1 kilogram of rice, 1 bottle of mineral water, 2 boiled eggs, 2 packs of cookies, 2 oranges / bananas / apples, 2 candies and cash money IDR 300.000 ( around $ 20 ).

Currently there are no charity organisations in Medan which provide support specifically to the elderly rickshaw drivers.

There are many elderly rickshaw drivers which we are still not able to give alms due to limited funds.

We look forward to supporting more elderly rickshaw drivers in Medan, Indonesia through Bitkind and its generous donors so as for these elderly rickshaw drivers to live a Decent life as they navigate through their old age.
